Plot #63, Roseville Community Garden, July 17, 2015.
Yet another very productive week at the garden. On Wednesday, it was two-and-a-half lbs. of green beans, a big bag of lettuce, a couple of peppers (jalapéno & cayenne), cucumbers, three more zucchini and a summer squash. Last night I brought home another 1+ lb. of green beans, more cucumbers, a zucchini and a summer squash, plus the first batch of beets of the season. See the image. below for my July 17 ‘harvest.’

Oh, and finally I’m including a shot of New Jersey’s State Bird, the American Goldfinch, hanging out in the garden fence on the night of Friday July 17.
