Another good week for growing in the garden, and much progress was made on the second season. Some of the fall crops – the Bolero carrots, Nero Tondo radishes, summer squash, green beans, dill and kohlrabi are planted. But a couple of surprise thunderstorms this week made the soil too muddy and caused a change of plans, so the last rows of beets, cherry bell radishes and Carioca lettuce are yet to be planted. That will happen this week.
It was a good week for harvesting and preserving eats as well, as the photos below will show you…a very good week. And I’ve included some ‘artsy’ views from within the garden itself to finish off the post. Enjoy!
